Let me tell you how we became proud Doodle owners. We lost our Black Lab 7 years ago and decided not to add a dog to our family again. But as time went on we started to long for a puppy in our home. My oldest son and I have allergies, so we needed to find a family friendly as well as allergy friendly dog. I went on the net and filled out a form that helped picked the perfect dog for you. Some of the breeds that came up were not at all what we wanted. The one we thought we wanted ended up not being the right fit for our family after I met one. The only other type of dog that struck my curiosity was the Labradoodle. Now in 2002 I had never heard of a Labradoodle. Well to get to the point we adopted a female. We picked her up at Portland Jetport and it was love at first sight. Sierra was and is everything we could have ever wanted in a dog. We soon added two more to our home.

We love the Labradoodle and want to work towards producing sound and healthy pups. We feel these dogs are the wonderful family pets. Our three are smart, curious, loving, gentle and very family oriented. If you spend the time and energy to train these dogs they will amaze you.

Our goal here at Southern Maine Labradoodles is to provide healthy family pets. We will stand behind our dogs and the families that adopt from us and help them in any questions and concerns they may have. If a question arises that I don't know the answer to I will try and find the answer. I will strive to have a great relationship with the families so they always feel comfortable calling or emailing me. Our dogs are our family and their pups and their new families will be important to us.
