Tiny little wonders

The babies are two weeks old now. Grace's litter turned two weeks on Sunday and Yaz's tomorrow. They are such little pudges. I am always amazed at how much the grow in the first two weeks. Their eyes opened in the last day or two, they are starting to try and stand. One of them even barked at me when I shut the door in the room. I don't know if it was the day he started hearing, but I let mom out the door and shut it and there was this tiny little "yip' and I just laughed. To hear a tiny little bark come out of a pup that is about a pound is so adorable. I love every aspect of watching these newborns become pups.

11 last night I went in to let moms out for their final potty break of the day and noticed Yaz's pups collars were a little snug. So sat on the floor and changed all collars. Not one of them complained at all. THey are so chunky and content. Grace sat in the door way and intently watched me. She so badly wanted to come in the room and see them. Her tail was wagging, her head cocking to the side. She would step on foot over the threshhold and I would say "stay there honey" and bless her she would sit right back down and watch. Momma Yaz was outside going potty.  It was a late night for me.  If all goes as planned I will post individual pictures of the pups this afternoon.
