Puppy socializing

Sophias pups are 5 weeks. Usually by this age they are outgoing and still can be shy but quickly come out of it. One of her boys would scream when I would touch him at all. So 4 days ago I started sitting in their gated area in the nursery (a spare bedroom in my home). I would just sit there and let the 6 of them explore me. Some would climb right up and kiss my face, others would climb into my lap and some just sat back and watched. Every day three times a day I have gone in and done the same thing, each time touching more and more. Today there was not a single pup that shyed away from me at all. Each was as happy as the next and loved the attention.  When we do visits tomorrow and Friday I will have to make sure it is quiter then usual with all my dogs kept in the office and make sure we dont' overwhelm the pups.  This will be an important step in their growth.
