The leader of the pack

Two days ago I did puppy shots and the pups were barely standing. Yesterday morning I go into Graces room and her Brown boy is outside the whelping box curled up on her fluffy bed, sound asleep.  I gentle picked him up and put him back in the whelping pool with his siblings. Thinking to myself, just a fluke. Well last night I get home from a basketball game and go into the nursery and there he is again, sound asleep on mommas bed.   I never would have imagined a 2 1/2 week old pup climbing out of the whelping pool and finding a soft bed to sleep on. Lets just say this is going to be one smart puppy.  THe first one to escape is almost always the smartest, which means the best for training.  I cannot wait to start training this litter and watching this boy shine.
