May 14 & 15th A good day and a bad day

Yesterday I took Cali Lily in for her xray and she is having 7 puppies.  Congrats to Cali and Ari.  Still a couple spaces left.

This morning I noticed Mistys light blue boys back legs looked weak.  When I checked him this afternoon they were worse. Took him in for exam and xray and no broken bones. Definately trama to the hind quarters. Looks like mom may have jumped into the whelping box and landed on him. Vet sent him home after giving a steroid shot.  9:30 pm tonight baby blue boy passed away in my arms. He is in heaven now playing with the children and not in pain.  It was a very long and painfull night for us all.  I love what I do, but at times like this it is so very hard.
